Just as the Dollar is universally denoted by $‚ the government thinks the Rupee should also have its own unique symbol that captures a sense of India’s history and culture.Listed below are 19 suggestions from ET’s team of designers. The horizontal line represents the unity in diversity.

the cross line on multi culture and unity in diversity represents the fighting against english and development....

wow... a conical line on this really meaningful to atomic reseach, scintific developments and the culture
